Data Sufficiency

Data Sufficiency is unique to only the GMAT. You are given a problem and two data sets. It is up to you to determine which data set needs to be used to solve the problem.
 
The answer choices for Data Sufficiency are always the same.
 
A: Statement (1) by itself is sufficient
B: Statement (2) by itself is sufficient
C: Statements (1) and (2) taken together are sufficient, but neither by itself
D: Either statement by itself is sufficient
E: Both statement taken together are not sufficient
 
Memorizing these answers can same much time on test day.
 


Remember: you do not need to solve the problem, just determine if the statements are enough to solve. Refer to the index on the right to practice data sufficiency problems on the GMAT.
